At the 2012 Public Library Association PLA Conference with Kodak

On Wednesday and Thursday of this week, E-Z Photo Scan was privileged to have a representative working with Eastman Kodak at the 2012 Public Library Association PLA Conference in Philadelphia.

The 2012 Public Library Association PLA Conference in Philadelphia

Nancy Sherman from Kodak Demonstrating the PS450 Scanner

Paula and Dana, from New Jersery, attendees at PLA toast the announcement that. Jim's is the unofficial Philly cheese steak winner according to the EZphotoscanning twitter poll.

Things we learned:
1) Librarians are pleasantly noisy and talkative....outside of work!
2) Librarians are really into health food....like cheese steaks.
3) Today's librarians aren't just about books. They are very creative about finding ways to preserve information and make it available in their communities.

We saw an enthusiastic response over the Kodak PS450 Picture Saver Scanner, which was largely developed to help community libraries provide their patrons with tools to preserve their personal photo histories.

Tomorrow's post will feature some video feedback from one attendee on how her patrons feel about the Kodak PS450 in her library.

Until then, please enjoy these show moments. If you are still at the conference, make sure to stop by and say "hi" to the friendly folks at the Kodak booth.
