The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports there are just less than 150,000 individuals who identified themselves as having the profession of 'photographer' in the 2010 census. They project growth in the industry to be at +13% over the coming decade. Meanwhile, there are at least 10 other occupations closely associated with 'photographer' related like duties that employ almost another one million inidividuals. These includes occupations such as; Crafts & Fine Art Artists, Desktop Publishers, Graphic Designers, Print Workers, and others.
